Typescript history of the U.S. Army's General Hospital No. 1, completed in Oct. 1919 and covering the entire time of its operation, 1917-1919. Included are a brief account of its origin as the Columbia War Hospital; descriptions of its buildings and medical services; statistics on admissions, discharges, and types of illnesses treated; lists of personnel; and photographs of grounds, exteriors and interiors of buildings, and physicians and patients. Though Yaskin and Herrick are named as authors on the title page, it is impossible to tell from the manuscript which parts they wrote individually.
